Fully automatic metering, scaling and mixing system for the fabrication of glass mixture. The different components are scaled according to the recipe and afterwards mixed in the REIMELT pneumatic mixer. The mixture is then transported by a dense phase conveying system out of the REIMELT pneumatic mixer to the four different receiving hoppers. During the transport it is ensured that the mixture does not get separated. Metering screws allow to meter the glass mixture out of the receiving hoppers to the glass melting unit. Production capacity: 7t/h.
The ingredients with a different bulk density varying from 0.4 to 1.6 t/m3 are scaled by means of three parallel working weigh scales. Their scaling range is well-adjusted to the accuracy requirements of the respective ingredients. After the scaling process is finished, the REIMELT pneumatic mixer serves to mix the individual, separated ingredients with a defined mixing accuracy.
After the mixing process, the contents of the REIMELT pneumatic mixer are discharged in mass flow and transported by a dense phase conveying system to the four receiving hoppers. During the conveying process, no separation of the mixture will occur.
Options: Extension for handling of further ingredients is possible.
